Games Like Runescape
I get asked this question time and time again "what are the other games like runescape".To my knowledge, there are no games that are really like runescape that are browser based, 3d, rpgs that are also free (Unless you want to pay for membership).
You probably know I'm going to suggest 2 popular games like runescape. I'm sure you've heard of them.
They're not EXACTLY like runescape, but they're about as close as your going to get.
Those games are Guild Wars, and World Of Warcraft (Commonly called "Wow").
Neither are completely free, however once you've bought the disk for guild wars, there are no membership fees, it's like wow but smaller and with no membership fees.
With wow, you need to buy the disk and then a monthly membership fee that's about double the cost of runescape membership if I remember rightly, but with that, you get more players, more content, more quests, more gear etc.
Those are the only games that I know of that are even remotely like runescape.
There are many browser based multi player games out there, but none that are quite like runescape.
