RuneScape Autominers (3), Not What They Appear
Did you know that if you use a "runescape auto miner" you're very likely to lose your runescape acount maybe even your credit card details.How?
It's not because the runescape staff will find out, (Although they probably will eventually).
Why? Because it's very rare to find a genuine rune scape auto miner !
You're more than likely to just get your account hacked by the person that provided the "autominer".
When you downloaded the so called autominer, you probably just downloaded a virus or a piece of spyware.
It then would have recorded your keystrokes as you went to the runescape website, you would have typed in your username and password and BAM, you just gave a hacker your password. While you were typing in your information, the spyware was quietly sending it to the hacker, so he now has complete control of your account, he'll change your runescape password and recovery questions and you'll have no access to it.
Even if you did manage to get a genuine runescape autominer, it would probabl;y work great for a time, until you overkill and leave it on 24/7, people will notice you woodcutting or mining, and think, hmm he's been there all day, they'll say something to you, you wont reply, they'll think your using an autominer and then your account gets banned.
That's not the worst thing either, that spyware you just installed can record ANYTHING that you type in, this includes your credit card information and your usernames and passwords from any site you go to.
So you've basically given away all your information to a complete stranger.
As you can probably see, it's a very bad idea to try to use a runescape autominer, because it's unlikely you'll actually get one and even if you do, you're account will be banned soon after.
