Start Your Own Runescape Loan Business

What if you could start your own loan business for Runescape?
You'd make a ton of money is what would happen.
But how can you start a Runescape loan business without people scamming you and still make a ton of money for yourself?

This is where collateral comes into play. Collateral is basically what the person taking out the loan gives up if they can't pay back the loan.
This is the clever bit. If you want to start a loan business, you ask people to provide collateral.

Lets say that someone wants a loan for 100,000 gold coins. In order for it to balance out the risk for you (in case they run away without paying), they would need to provide you with an item or items equal in value to the loan (Preferably greater). This way, if they run away, you can just sell the item they gave you as collateral to pay off their debt, and hopefully still make a profit.

The next part of a successful loan business, is charging interest. You can charge interest daily, or weekly, or even longer if you want to, this way if they want to take out a loan for a longer time period, you can make more money from it.

For that to work you'd need to ask for more that the loans worth to pay for the interest costs depending on how much interest your charging and how much the loan actually is.
For example, if the loan was for 1 million gold coins, you could charge maybe 10,000 gold coins a day. That's fairly reasonable, as 10,000 gold isn't hard to make in a few minutes, so a day should be no problem.
